Discovering the most beautiful waterfalls among the mountains of Minas Gerais

Among the majestic Mantiqueira Mountains, lies the enchanting Matutu Valley, in the city of Aiuruoca. A true haven of peace and exuberant nature, this magical place holds surprises and beauties that enchant everyone who visits it. Our first stop will be at Macacos Waterfall, a breathtaking place, with its crystal clear waters and beautiful landscape. We will take the opportunity to cool off and enjoy the tranquility of this paradisiacal setting. Next, we will visit Fadas Waterfall, another admirable spot in Aiuruoca. With its waterfalls and natural pools, it is the perfect place to relax and connect with nature. To replenish our energy, we will have the option of having lunch in a typical restaurant that offers delicious local cuisine. After lunch, we will continue to visit Casarão do Matutu, an important historical heritage of the city. To end the day, we will make a stop, where we can taste and purchase local products, such as cheeses, sweets and handicrafts.
