Inspired by the Estrada Real, whose path was opened by the Portuguese Crown in the mid-17th century, the Imperial Route includes the cities of Caxambu and Baependi for a journey through time. The Municipality of Caxambu is the ground zero of a journey through beautiful landscapes, histories and traditions built over centuries.
